
INGREDIENTS
350g S/R flour
Pinch salt
1 tbs ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
200g castor sugar
115g butter
4 tbs golden syrup
1 large egg
METHOD
Melt butter and golden syrup together over low heat. Sift dry ingredients together then make a well in the middle. Pour warm butter mixture and lightly whisked egg into well. Using wooden spoon stir until all combined then turn out on floured bench and knead lightly until smooth. Roll out to approx 4mm thick and cut into desired shapes using cutters. Bake for 10-15mins (until lightly golden) in preheated 160oc oven. Decorate as desired. Enjoy!
