WOOHOO
I have a new job. Well not yet. I need to go have a pre-employment medical exam, but I have a letter saying I’m a preferred candidate. So assuming they find me fit and healthy and even human, I’m sure I’ll be starting in the near future!
It’s a traineeship.
In horticulture.
I’ll be outside a lot.
I’ll be wearing safety vests and sunscreen and using lots of boys toys.
I can’t wait.
Not that I don’t enjoy what I’m doing now, but lets face it, it’s not exactly a career is it? Well this new one will open new doors for me. I’ll be paid to learn new stuff. And a decent wage to go with it which is truly f’in remarkable in this country let me tell you. But I will end up with a qualification that I can take anywhere with me and that is a good thing.
I know I said I was stopping the blogging for a bit, but I had to share my news with whoever still happens to be reading here.
Oh for those of you that aren’t aware, I have a photo blog. Will be attempting to put new things up once a week. Congratulations on the new job! And I have to say that this is the kind of blog intermission I like, a matter of days, as opposed to weeks and months. I still applaud your taking a break as necessary for your own sake. But I like what you write and photograph.
