home sweet home

After 12 days, 5 motels, 2300kms and more take away meals than this poor gals digestive system can handle, we are here. Of course you already knew that cos smummy wrote and told ya didn’t she! But now I’M telling you too! And from our new home.

We are pretty much all unpacked. A few odds and sods to go, but beds are made, clothes are in wardrobes and coffee is made.

Tony has his first day at his new job today, so wish him luck! He’s a little nervous, but I keep telling him he’ll be fine, so he better be. If not, I won’t hear the bloody end of it

The house is nice, a little smaller than what we’ve just come from, but we have successfully managed to arrange furniture to our liking and it’s starting to look and feel like home.

Anyway this is just a brief one, I’m actually usually a DIAL UP account right now and it’s slower than a wet bloody week! Also only got about 5 hours that comes free with the account. It’s going to be around 7 days before the broadband is back online…so until then I won’t be visiting, nor responding to all your comments. Will endeavour to do so once we are back in the 21st century and not the ice age….

Take it easy folks! Zoe and myself are off to the ‘big smoke’ of Richmond today to get a few things. Did I tell you that I woke up this morning to a beautiful mist across the big paddock that is behind us and the sound of cows not so quietly having their brekkie? One can easily forget that an hour or so that way is the biggest city in the country….

Yeah, you’re there! Glad the move went okay and you’re settling in. Can’t wait until the broadband is up and working. You’ve got lots of posting and picture sharing to do. Oh, I deleted my blog, started a new one and then decided I didn’t like the name, so here’s my new blog now: http://www.dancingmadrona.blogspot.com
