toofus!
Well it’s official. My baby girl isn’t a baby girl anymore..
….this first photo was taken about an hour ago…
And this one was taken about 1/2 hour ago…
Can you notice the difference? We have toofus missing! It’s been wobbling and wiggling for a couple of weeks now, and with only a little help, it finally came out!! YAY for miss Zoe!
Not so yay for mummy :cry: The ‘firsts’ of motherhood are usually all good….but not this one. She’s growing up, and now we have physical evidence…dammit!
Oh well, like most things of this nature, it’s a bittersweet moment and I’ll get over it as soon as I see her smiling - complete with gap - face in the morning as she sees how much the tooth fairy thought her very first tooth was worth!
**UPDATE: Apparently inflation has hit the tooth fairy too. She left 15 bucks for Zoe’s first ever toofus! Be sure to visit her blog later in the day, I’m sure there will be a post about it before long…***

Holy Crap! Don’t let my kids hear how much teeth are going for “Down Under” or they be ripping them out and mailing them to you! The most I ever paid was a silver or gold dollar for a tooth, and two if the loss of the tooth was traumatic.
$15 bucks a toofer? I’m loving it! Your daughter is a cutie! I did the same thing for my oldest - it was such a milestone! He got a lot of $$ for the first one.. then it dwindled down.
Awww… cutie. It’s painful when they grow up. They’re not supposed to! Connor is the last of mine who will still kiss me in public (in front of friends) I hope he never changes but I’m resigned to the day he goes “Muuuuuuum! Not in front of the guys!”
