not tonight dear..

I have a headache! How many times have you heard that in your life? And I’m not just asking you guys! Well firstly, thats a cop out. I mean there is no logical reason why you can’t do the tango, or the washing, just because your head hurts right? In fact I’ve heard that sometimes those activities can be a slight relief :xeyes:

I get headaches a bit. Sometimes it’s my eyes, sometimes it’s stress, sometimes it’s my daughter! I get bad ‘girly’ pains too. I know, too much info but in case you haven’t noticed - I’M A GIRL! It happens. However I don’t do things by halves, so my head usually thumps, or I’m wishing I was dying in bed before I head towards the drugs.

Nurofen Plus is ideal. It’s quick, safe, effective and doesn’t make me all sleepy like some of the stronger pain relief available. I hate that. I got too many good fun things to be doing to be worrying about sleeping a lot. Like the tango. Or washing…

I think the best bit is that it’s so effective. And for a long time. Lasts for ages. Less drugs needed makes me a happy girl  Being a happy girl means I tango all the more better!

pretty much the only thing I ever used for period pains was nurofen, until I discovered that by reading the labels you can often find a cheaper alternative that uses the same strength (or stronger) active ingredient.. recommend you always compare labels when shopping for health products..

To be honest, I’ve never really gone looking for anything else cos it works so well, but thanks for the advice!!

A little nookie stops the girly pains every time for me. :-)

LOL! Actually works wonders for the headaches too, the hormones released during and after arousal help apparently. The girly pains are helped because it increases bloodflow in the general vicinity of the pain, or so I’ve heard :tu: Not sure how it works, but I can say that from experience it does indeed work!

WHAT? I went to the NUROFEN link - it has codeine in it? Is that available over the counter where you live? Not here in the USA, you have to get a prescription. If I could get that over the counter I’d never complain about cramps again -heee-heeee-heee. Have you ever woken up with a headache? DOH! I just hate that. It’s very hard to shake! Or, if you get a sinus headache, no codeine in the world will help with that -you need sinus relief first! Migraine headaches run in our family; fortunately - I only get a real migraine approx 2 x’s a year! But, one of my kids (11yrs) gets them about 1-2 times per month and it’s bad! And for me; I’ll tango anytime the husband wants; he’s too gorgeous to turn away

It can bought over the counter, but here in aus you have to give them your name and address. They track sales that way. I guess if your buying too much they’ll come knock down your door in the middle of the night with the drug squad or something!
LOL @ tangoing with your hubby, thats a good thing though!
