i cannot believe it!

Well watch out folks, WE’RE BACK!

Be afraid, be very afraid. As of about an hour or so ago, we have the net back on at home. Not to both computers at this stage, but that will be rectified quickly I’m sure.

I’m not sure whats going to happen to the cryptic crossword book now. Poor little bugger will sit gathering cobwebs or moths until we remember it’s there, or theres a blackout…. And as for my ever increasing skill on my pinball game? Well I’m pretty sure that will disappear in about the same time it takes me to catch up on all your blogs, which is likely to be a week or so I’m thinking!

Very briefly here’s a quick roundup of what’s happening round here:

  • Zoe’s back molars are coming through. AND she has her first wobbly tooth! It’s so exciting and sad all at the same time. I’m excited for her, but sad because it’s yet another tangible sign that my baby is growing up. You know it’s going to happen, yet when it does you can’t help but sit and reflect on just how far they’ve come in such a short space of time.
  • I’m actively looking for a job. Here’s the thinking. Want to move in with Tony, I’m too independant to do that until I wouldn’t be reliant upon him for EVERYTHING. That won’t happen until I get a car. And the car won’t happen until I get a job becuase I’m never going to be able to save enough on benefits. Oh and I have an interview in the morning - 10am AEST so send all your ‘get the bloody job Kell’ thoughts out throughout the universe at that time! Thanks, it’s muchly appreciated. It’s in HR, something I’ve never done before but with mainly admin duties - sounds like fun actually! The gentleman on the phone this morning called it a “suck it and see” job which sounds like something I could get my teeth into. Basically they aren’t sure what will be required. They kind of know they need someone, but long term they don’t know what that role will be. My kind of thing actually. An evolving job. Cool. Assuming of course I get it! Going to do course externally again once I get a job. Thats a long term goal. Getting a car and my finances back on track is a short term one. It’s more of a priority right now.
  • My god we’re boring, you know I can’t think of too much else that warrants discussing here?! But I’m not doing a list for just two things so thought i’d share that we lead very boring lives as a point all on it’s own!

Ok, I’m off….have blogs to read and emails to send and jobs to hunt and cuppas to drink……have fun peoples!!

:coffee: Having a cuppa with ya. Sending big thoughts of big jobs for you. Yay for Zoe and her new toofs. Boo hoo for mummy though. Yes, she is growing up, but wasn’t she born 40 to begin with?

Doing cartwheels that you’re back online and so jealous of your connection. Hmmm.

    Talk soon.
    Love,
    Annie

    Thanks Annie,
All I can say is, thank GOODNESS she wasn’t born 40 to begin with! She near killed me on the way out as it is! Will keep you all posted on the job thing.
Like I said in email, I reckon our cartwheels are bigger than yours :xeyes:
