{ 2 } Thoughts
Heh - i like this game!
Morality is not really the doctrine of how to make ourselves happy but of how we are to be worthy of happiness.
(attributed to immanuel kant I believe)
My fave quote though:
We see others not as they are but as we are..
(if anyone knows where that came from I’d be grateful, thought it was kant but cant find corroboration)
Me too! I love both of those, but particularly the second one

Too true on that quote. I’ve got zillions of quotes that I love. I used to have them posted all around my bedroom and around my computer. But they all got packed up a couple moves ago and have yet to be resurrected from the moving boxes. A quote I was discussing with my sister today is, “no one changes who isn’t in enough pain.” I saw that in a book written by the singer Kenny Loggins and his current wife. I’ve found that quote to be true. Until you reach the point where you’re just hurting too much and can’t take any more, the comfort of the known, no matter how horrible, will outweigh the fear of the unknown that comes with change. I’m feeling a major career change creeping into my life slowly. I just haven’t reached the point where the trauma of continuing to be a lawyer is worse than the fear of changing careers. But boy howdy am I approaching the tipping point fast!
Oh I can relate to that fav of yours for sure. It’s very appropriate infact

Hope that you feel that pain real soon - of course you know that I don’t mean I wanna see you in pain, just at the point where you make those changes
