Well it seems as though change is a recurring theme of my life lately, so why not for the blog as well? I’ve been toying with the idea of installing wordpress for some time, and with a recent financial windfall courtesy of a tax refund, I thought what the hell, go the whole hog! So I purchased the domain name, paid for hosting, and here we all are…the new place.
It will give me the opportunity to learn more - I’ve never had anything to do with php before. With the way my blogging software of old worked, I can’t import the posts, and to be honest, I don’t want to. Whats the point in starting with a clean slate if I’m going to bring the old stuff with me right?
I’m kind of over the whole theme thing for the time being, and at the moment I will simply alter other templates. At some stage I will add the theme selector again, I do enjoy giving the readers a choice, but for now, I’m still finding the toilets round here so will give it a break for a while 
I’m looking forward to getting back to basics, writing what I feel like writing whether that be a rant, opinion or simply sharing something funny or peculiar. I’ve decided to introduce a couple of regular features, but you’ll have to wait and see what I’m talking about. I’m also going to post daily again. I know I’m a lot busier now, but realistically it takes me 2 mins to write “got nothing to say, move on” if thats appropriate for that day! I’m doing this for me, I find blogging a useful tool on an internal level and would love to record my personal journey for me to see the changes from within…

I like the new space. Good color, very nice.
Isn’t it amazing how when we find something new to play with (like the first blog, or even a first computer) we play with all the bells and whistles, and then we reach a point where we scale back…
When I changed to wordpress, because of the no javascript, lots of my bells and whistles have been sidelined, at no great loss.

Cris, I like the new place too…much more reflective of my new life. Simplistic, not too much clutter and I actually enjoy it
I think playing with all the bells and whistles gives us a chance to make it our own, eventually we pick one or two things that suit us out of all those things on offer and ditch the rest!
Despite last nights post, I am actually having fun, I was just tired, and sick and creating problems for myself in the end..I’ll get over it!
